We did not have a reservation but the friendly staff
were able to accommodate us. The front staff were very
efficient and our room was lovely. It was clean and
comfortable. We were happy that it was pet friendly and
the location of your hotel next to the park was perfect
for us. We usually are campers but the next time we are
in Victoria we will stay at your Travelodge. Thank you
for a nice stay.

We enjoyed our stay and especially appreciated the free
shuttle to downtown. It picked us up right outside the
hotel and dropped us in the center of it all. The driver
was friendly and offered many suggestions. As first time
travelers to Canada, we truly valued his comments. After
a long day it felt good to slide into our seats and be
chauffeured home. Our children also enjoyed the pool,
spa and workout room to burn off excess energy! Wish I
had it.

We have stayed at the Travelodge Victoria many times and
it has become our favorite place to stay while visiting
Victoria. It is located in a quiet location away from
the downtown core, but it's only a short ride to the
Inner Harbour area. The staff have always been friendly
and efficient and the rooms are spacious and clean. The
basic rooms have a small fridge and microwave, along
with T.V., phone, toiletries etc. We have also enjoyed
the indoor pool, an evening swim on a warm summer night
is great! We will definitely stay here again and have,
and will continue to recommend to our family and
friends.
Thank you Travelodge Victoria!!

We stayed here from July 24-29 with a 11 and 12 year
old. We were looking for something economical where we
could sleep and make breakfast and lunches. We also
wanted a pool. For us it was just what we were looking
for. We always had a good night sleep and did not find
the hotel noisy. I felt safe and found the rooms clean.
I even left my flip flops in the pool accidentally and
when I inquired at the front desk if they had been found
they had housekeeping deliver them to me. We were also
able to keep tabs on our e-mail on the computer in the
lobby.
We spent most of our time downtown and we had a car but
there is a free shuttle that will take you downtown each
morning.

The customer service we received from this hotel was
above and beyond expectations. Prior to our stay I was
in e-mail contact with General Manager, Darryl Wilson
and his support was second to none, his reply was prompt
and extremely helpful! I was so impressed and grateful I
made a point of personally meeting him once we arrived
to say thank you in person.
During our stay all the staff we encountered were
friendly and helpful recommending things to do and tips
on how to get around and what to see.
The room its self was spacious, very comfortable and
clean - represented excellent value for money.
The location of the hotel is a short bus ride from
downtown Victoria. The bus stop is right outside the
hotel.
The pool at the hotel was heated, clean and of a decent
size - open till reasonably late so you can enjoy a dip
after a long day exploring downtown! There was also a
large sauna and reasonably equipped gym.
Overall there is nothing we can fault about this hotel,
we really enjoyed our stay and would love to go back!
A big thank you to all the staff and especially Darryl
for making our holiday and stay at Travelodge Victoria
so enjoyable!!!

We stayed here 2 nights in August.
Not having an elevator is a massive disadvantage; having
to drag 2 heavy suitcases up 2 stairs is not really fun
to do.
Location: the hotel is a 10 minute drive from the city
centre. Parking there costs approx. $2,25 per hour, both
street side and garages. There is a free shuttle for
those who also return before 6 PM because only on thu-sun
it runs until 10PM.
Rooms: large ! 2 queen beds, kitchenette, small
bathroom. All a bit outdated but clean.
Breakfast: quite good. Only when we left after breakfast
we saw the waitress with 2 glasses of orange juice; i
wonder why there wasn't any orange juice when we were
having our breakfast....
I think if you consider staying here, you compare the
price with the closer-to-town alternatives (as i always
do). A next time i would stay closer to the centre but
that is a personal motive which can be different from
anyone else's.

We recently stayed at the Travelodge Victoria for five
days. I had previously read Trip Advisor and made
several requests based on the information I had learned.
I knew there were no elevators so requested the same
level as the main desk. I also asked for a quiet room
facing the water if possible. The staff went out of
their way to accommodate my requests. We were extremely
happy with the polite, friendly service and the clean,
comfortable room! I feel that we received excellent
value for the money spent and we would not hesitate to
stay there again. I have already recommended it to
friends.
For those people who are not looking for a fancy,
expensive downtown hotel and who do not mind an
approximate ten minute drive to the downtown area, this
is a very good choice.

I volunteered as a host and tour guide for a 32 member
children's choir from the Czech Republic. Travelodge
Victoria helped tremendously by giving us a great deal
on accommodation. The rooms are comfortable, spacious
(even 4 to a room, we didn't feel cramped), spotlessly
clean, the staff friendly and efficient. They even kept
the swimming pool open for us longer so the kids could
enjoy it after their (very successful) concert. The
hotel location is quiet, yet perfect for easy access to
downtown; you can even see the illuminated Parliament
building from there. We had a delicious and copious
breakfast and continued on our tour well rested and
refreshed. Thank you very much, Travelodge! |
