Great Place to Stay
We had a wonderful time at the Victoria Harbourside Hotel & Marina. The staff was friendly & catered to our every wish. The hotel has an excellent restaurant & lounge & the food & drinks were fabulous.

Stayed 2 nights, nice pleasant room, very clean. We had a side view of the harbour. Read that the restaurant was best in area, so booked for one of the nights, had quite a wait but it was very good. There are plenty in Victoria to choose from but it was nice on the 1st night to just go downstairs. Concierge was very good/helpful. Courtesy car was nice bonus as a bit of a walk into town but nice walk along the harbour. Nicer than the Coast in Vancouver , mainly because it's newer and therefore lighter/brighter/modern.

My husband and I spent 4 nights at Victoria Harbourside with a Road Scholar (formerly Elderhostel) group tour. We spent 3 nights in a room with a nice harbor view. We stayed another night there ,our last night in Victoria, in a room with a city view. That room was rather noisy. We seemed to be close to a Grayline bus terminal and you could here the buses going by until quite late. The people at the front desk were very nice and helpful. We had a continental breakfast each morning in the dining room that consisted of very large muffins, fruit, yogurt ,granola, juice, coffee or tea. It is a bit of a walk to the downtown area. Overall it was a nice hotel although I much preferred our first room.

Another great stay at the Coast Harbourside. The Blue Crab restaurant has excellent food. Rooms are clean and comfortable. It is a lovely walk around Laurel Point to the Inner Harbour. Fisherman's Wharf is close too. The hotel also has a complimentary shuttle to local spots.

Originally from Victoria, we return every few years to renew our acquaintance with our favourite city. What better way to enjoy Victoria than staying where we can overlook the inner harbour, soak up the sun, enjoy the seagulls and sea planes, and still have easy access to the waterfront and downtown. Walk, take the water taxis, or drive - its only a few minutes to some of the best attractions Victoria has to offer. The Coast Harbourside Hotel has always given us good value for our stays, the best of service, (the front desk staff are second to none), fabulous food and service at the Blue Crab, and superb room housekeeping.
We booked a premium room, and requested chairs for the balcony. Those chairs were delivered within minutes of our request. Extra coffee - done! Evening turn down service - excellent! All of this great service was done during the annual Goodlife Fitness Victoria Marathon (over 14,000 participants) as well as being the Thanksgiving weekend. They still managed to pull it off!!!. Good job, Coast Harbourside!
