This hotel is in Langford which is about 20 minutes from Victoria downtown. But
the setting is great - nice quite location with great west coast feel. It is
adjacent to a Costco and close to some decent restaurants including milestones.
The family had a good time with the swimming pool. The staff and service is
excellent. Also, my wife and I enjoyed some nice drinks on the patio which is
serviced by the pub. I would definitely stay there again. I am an avid Starwood
fan and this place is on my go to list for Victoria for sure!!

We stayed there over the May long weekend. It was nice on the outside and the
staff were friendly but, the room we had was poor. The blinds were broken and
the curtains were partially off the rod. The curtain / blind problems were
pointed out to housekeeping who said it was a maintenance issue, they also
overlooked the crumbs on the floor. The beds had two large decorative pillows on
them which were dirty. Finally, there was a wedding held there on the Saturday
which took over many of the parking spaces. We had to park next door at the
Costco. Our friends were up the road at Bear Mtn Resort at a cheaper rate. I'll
know better next time.

Nice hotel about 15 minutes drive from downtown. good beds, plenty of parking
space, good value for money. Better then the usual 3-star hotel. We stayed there
for 2 nights (it is a good base point to visit Victoria and Sooke areas) The
stay was in a good location between the city and country at a reasonable price.

Your restaurant staff for our breakfast and evening meals were great, parking
was easy and the location was perfect. I loved the room. It was beyond my
expectations. The beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms were very spa like.

We found the hotel average while expecting above average. Our view was of Costco
and although a king bed was requested, when we arrived we were informed that
they had no such thing for that room type. The taps in the bathroom ran very
slow and it was difficult to get a good stream of cold water.

This is a nice hotel, but we did have a couple of minor issues here. First, it’s
a 10 minute drive from Victoria, so only stay here if you have a car. Victoria
is lovely, worth exploring, so a downtown hotel is probably better if you can
find a good one. Nevertheless, the place was extremely clean and easy to find,
and the rooms were nicely set up. The second issue was the staff. Very young,
and not friendly. We are savvy, low-maintenance travelers. Our questions weren’t
stupid or demanding, but the Front Desk Princesses were curt and dismissive.
Lastly, this is a new hotel, so noise carries through the halls. There was a
family with children three doors down from us, and we were near the rumbly ice
machine. Our sleep was frequently interrupted. (This is obviously a kid-friendly
hotel, so that may be a plus for some.) On a final positive note, the shower at
the Four Points is fabulous. Expedia doesn’t let you rate the bathrooms in
hotels, which is a shame, because I loved this one.
If you are on a budget and have a car, this hotel is very close to a nice little
shopping center. They have a good supermarket and some other spots that will
save a bit of money on snacks and items for the road.

I attended a conference in Victoria and wanted a nice, comfortable place to stay
without spending the $200+ dollars the meeting site downtown wanted. Also, I had
a car and previous visits to the city left me with no desire to explore the
tourist sites in the center of the city. The Sheraton was comfortable and new
and the rooms were very nice. The pool area was closed, however, and it didn’t
seem like anyone was terribly interested in re-opening it. Also, my request for
wake-up call apparently didn’t reach an interested party either. Fortunately I
woke up on my own and made my conference. I was for the most part satisfied and
comfortable but I suspect the hotel could use some adult supervision.

My friends and I stayed at the Four Points ,and loved it. The place is
beautiful, nice big rooms and extremely clean. The staff were very pleasant and
always there to help. Loved the pub/restaurant, great place to eat and have
drinks...the service was great.
It may be a little ways away from downtown however it is close to other shops
and restaurants. We would definitely recommend this place to others, and look
forward to going back. |
