We stayed in this hotel with our 3 teenagers at the end of July. We were very
impressed with the very large apartment style suite which we stayed in. The beds
were comfortable and the bedrooms roomy with black out curtains. Each bedroom
had its own ensuite. There was a large living room and a very well equipped
kitchen . The hotel had also provided an extra folding bed which we had
requested when we booked through Expedia. We found the easy access to washing
machine and tumble dryer in the same corridor as our suite very useful. We had a
lovely harbour view and enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the float planes
coming in and out and plenty of other harbour activity. (We did hear the float
planes coming in and out from quite early in the morning but were able to
'filter' it out.) We had a good continental breakfast and again had a great view
of the harbour from the dinning room. The staff at reception were very helpful
and gave us advice about places to go and how to get there. The hotel is in a
very good position for easy access to Victoria. We LOVED Victoria as a city and
really liked the Victoria regent hotel. We would love to return some day!

We have stayed a number of times here over the years in suites, single rooms and
once, with an upgrade, in the penthouse. It's always comfortable, the parking is
good and the location unbeatable. Close to two of the best restaurants in the
city (Matisse across the street for one)) and two other good seafood restaurants
on either side.! Free breakfast is welcome and staff always helpful.

pro.. Excellent location for walking about the shopping district and the harbor
con.. their opinion of a full harbor view differed from mine.. We had part of a
harbor view and a full parking lot view where noisy young people gathered at
night. Our bedroom windows looked directly into office window next door and a
restaurant.
pro.. the continental breakfast was plentiful with a better harbor view.
con...same fruit bowl everyday and grapefruit is too strong to use in a fruit
bowl it overpowered the orange and pineapple.
con I think i spent more time waiting for the elevator than I did sightseeing..
Take the stairs.
pro.. Rooms were very clean
con ..lobby too small and needs a reno.
pro.. staff pleasant and very helpful especially young man with accent.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom/2bath suite overlooking the inner harbour of
Victoria. The suite was spacious, a view great and a friendly staff. Walking
distance to harbour and downtown. The water planes do take off below your
balcony but did not disturb us and barely heard from inside and fun to watch
from your balcony. We would stay again.

The hotel is conveniently located near all the tourist attractions downtown. The
one bedroom suite is lovely and the continental breakfast was great. My issue is
their "partial harbor view". Our partial harbor view overlooked a grassy area
where there was lots of noisy people and traffic...not to mention the seagulls
squawking away all night long on the roof of the next building. We ended up
leaving this hotel after 2 days, as they were unable to accommodate us with
another room facing the inner harbor. Service was good at this hotel otherwise.

Very well located, clean spacious room and bathroom, comfortable bed, nice
amenities. Even though we were on low floor facing the street it wasn't noisy.
Breakfast adequate, front desk staff adequate.

Absolutely nice!!! We travel a great deal, and it's always a pleasure to find
great digs. Breakfast room on the harbor is quite sweet. Great location and
views. Will go again one day, I hope!

We only had a 3 night stop in Victoria and glad we
picked the Regent. Based on TA reviews, location and
views from the room, we made the right choice,
Check-in through departure was excellent. Informative
staff that was more that helpful when in came to
directions and recommendations. Room (505) was exactly
what we had seen on TA. Large spacious 1 bedroom suite,
full living room, dining room, kitchen with views to
match. The room faces south with a view of the
legislature building.
Lots of choices to eat within 2 blocks in any direction,
Sauce, right across the street is informal but what a
great menu. Nautical Nellies also rates right up there
for service and food. Back to the hotel. The continental
breaky was more than adequate and well stocked. Rooms
were clean, extra towels within minutes of being
requested and all with a smile.
When we return to Victoria, and we will, we will not
change location. I'm sure there are better hotels, Delta
and Grand Pacific look nice, but it's hard to beat the
location of this hotel.

I stayed at the regent at the end of may and couldn't
have got a better hotel room I used to live in Victoria
4 years ago and wanted to make this a special returning
trip.
Although they were not my first or second choice, I am
so glad I stayed here.
The view alone let me sit in my room and see many places
that held great memories for me. The bed was huge and
very comfy and the bathroom and tub were both extra
large and a welcome treat considering I had just booked
a regular room. The hotel is a lot cleaner and nicer
than the pictures show and all the staff were very
friendly and were quick to help with changes. There was
noise outside my window but just regular active city
noise and the location is the best.

Our original room was on the second level, which might
have been a bit noisy in the evening. We asked the front
desk for a room on a higher level, and ended up with a
Jacuzzi suite with harbour views (we had purchased a
regular room with city views). This was completely
unexpected, but certainly enjoyed!!
A free continental breakfast is included, but for $2 per
person, they will deliver it to your room. We elected
for breakfast in bed, and it was brought to our room on
time and beautifully arranged. Also, everything was
exactly to order, right down to the number of jam
packets! The food was delicious and we highly recommend
getting it delivered. Room service for $4? That's almost
unheard of!).
