We (2 adults + 4 children) stayed for 5 nights in a
queen suite with kitchen (one night in a double queen
with kitchen). The front desk staff was very helpful and
even called our room after we checked in to make sure
everything was in order and to check if we needed
anything.
Every staff member we encountered was friendly and
helpful and always asked if we needed anything like more
towels or more coffee (for the in room machine).
The room was very clean and everything was in good
condition (i.e. no paint/wall paper/peeling, no water
stains, no obvious bad paint job). The bed and the pull
out couches were comfortable.
We made use of the pool, sauna and pool showers and
found everything clean and in good order.
It's about a 8 minute drive from downtown Victoria so
it's convenient but it's not walking distance to
downtown. There was a free shuttle available to downtown
that left the hotel at 9:30a and returned around 5:30p.
What we liked best was the cleanliness, value of the
accommodation and the attention of the staff. The thing
I liked least was the wireless internet reception in a
room we stayed in on the third floor. It was a little
weak but worked. The wireless internet access in the
room we stayed in on the second floor was perfect.

Very clean, excellent customer service, on site laundry,
beautiful view of the Parliament buildings, but away
from the noise of the inner Harbor. Great follow up
survey after our stay and a lovely letter from the GM -
We will return and we both highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed there for 3 nights and had a terrific sleep each
night. The first morning we noticed a problem with the
tub draining, reported it to staff and was fixed by that
afternoon. Very relaxing and close to downtown with a
bus stop right outside the hotel entrance. Lovely view
and great for people with dogs as their is an off-leash
park right across the street. Would definitely stay
there again!

We had a lovely 3 nights stay. Service was friendly and
helpful. The room was very clean, spacious, quiet and
the view was beautiful! Enjoyed the pool, walks on a
trail minutes from the hotel and tasty burgers and beer
in the hotel pub. We recommend others to spend their
vacation at this establishment and we will be staying
there again too. Thank you to all the staff for a
delightful experience!

Booked this hotel for a basketball tournament for 13
year old girls and their families. Everyone had suites
with kitchens. The staff was extremely helpful and
friendly. The rooms were very clean and accommodating.
We arranged an early breakfast for the team one morning
and the staff/chef had to come in early to cook and set
out buffet for 23 people in a separate meeting room. It
was all ready when we came down at 7:00 am and tasted
good and the price was right.

Just stayed for one night. Hotel is a bit out of the
way, definitely not a downtown Victoria location. Fine
if you have a car, or a kayak - super close to the
water.
We had 1 bedroom, plus a massive lounge /dining area,
with 2 foldout couches. Kitchenette had everything you
would need to cook some meals.
Good price, good room.

We stay at this hotel whenever we visit Victoria because
it is such a nice place - clean and comfortable and most
importantly, pet friendly! The rooms are a good size and
well equipped and fairly quiet - you can hear seagulls
but that's part of the charm! The staff is helpful and
friendly - new manager Darrel made sure we were well
taken care of. The location is convenient to everything,
downtown is 5 minutes drive and the highways to
everywhere else are easily accessible. There is a
popular pub onsite, but you can't hear noise in the
rooms on the opposite side. The views of the Gorge
waterway, the Galloping Goose Trail and downtown
Victoria are really nice. We will continue to stay at
the Travelodge Victoria whenever we are in Victoria.

As said by others airport is only 5 minutes away and you
get great company coming back to the hotel with the
hotel staff. Near to the ferries also. All staff are
great and know the area really well. I am in a
wheelchair and the room itself is perfect for me. I had
one small problem in the washroom and reported it to the
front desk and before we could leave they had it fixed.
Hard working bunch and very pleasant.. While you are
staying here try eating at Fish on 5th, it was the best
fish & chips I've had in over 30 years. Tiny place but
full of locals.
The only bad point about this spot is like most hotels
it is near the main drag. If you need an afternoon nap
bring a sleeping pill. You can hear a few of the local
idiots with no exhaust and playing crap music until
their doors vibrate off. Night time isn't too bad.

I thought the room was clean, comfortable, well equipped
and reasonably priced. The hotel was fairly central to
all the attractions we were interested in as well as
nearby restaurants

The shower had awesome pressure. No in room DVD player,
had to rent from the desk. I found this hotel very
clean, but thought it should have been more up to date
in terms of in room services as well as had an ice
machine and vending machines in more than one location.

Stayed here 3 nights while on a trip to buy a house in
Victoria. The room was clean and though we made minimal
use of the kitchenette, everything was clean and
functional. The cleaning staff was friendly and
efficient. We had some trouble the first night because
the guests above us seemed to be holding a wrestling
match at 1 AM. Many loud thumps and crashes that went on
for at least an hour. A call to the front desk put a
stop to that and it was quiet for the rest of our stay.
The hotel is quite close to a pleasant walking/cycling
trail that crosses the Gorge Waterway on a long trestle
bridge and we had a very enjoyable evening walking
across to West Victoria/Esquilmault and back. We're
planning to stay here again when it comes time to move
to our new house in !
