Holiday Inn Hotel Whistler

Stayed here in January 2010 for a 10 day ski trip. We've stayed here before so
we knew what to expect. Once again, the hotel was great. The front desk staff
were excellent and I must mention Darren in particular who was such a great
help, finding us a great room and always helpful and happy whenever we dealt
with him. We had a larger room (deluxe?) with two beds and a full kitchen. The
room was on the 4th floor overlooking the firestation. The bed was really,
really comfy, the jet bath was great, the full kitchen (with washing and dryer
machine) was great and there was plenty of room. The only negative point was
they have removed the movie channel which we found handy if you were too tired
after a day skiing to go partying. Excellent location, only a few minutes walk
to the slopes which we found good for warming your legs up prior to your skiing.
Sometimes the hotel is noisy at night but we've only found this to be the case
when we're jetlagged and can't sleep or when it is the American holiday weekend
when there are a lot of young-ish people partying all around the town. This is
no fault of the hotel and I imagine this is the same for all village hotels. I
would definitely recommend the Holiday Inn Hotel Whistler and would use it again. It is very good
value for money.

Roomier than expected and close in to Whistler village/skiing/shopping. This
robbed us of sleep and made the hallways crowded and hard to negotiate with ski
gear and baggage! Overall a fun time although whistler and area hotels are way
over priced

Excellent hotel for leisure traveler looking for a well-appointed room close to
the ski gondola & whistler village. If you want to avoid the high parking fee,
park in lot 4 across the street, about a 5 minute walk to hotel.”

Very clean, friendly staff, nice fireplace in room plus jetted hot tub in
bathroom, comfortable bed, direct in whistler village, close to ski lifts.

We had booked a suite/loft with two bedrooms, a pull out couch, kitchen.
Everyone in our group really had more than enough space and privacy in this
large two level suite. The people at the front desk were friendly and helpful.
The walk to the slopes were ok just a little bit farther than some of the other
hotels but this really wasn't even noticeable. Everything was really clean and
the kitchen came in handy.

Great hotel, good location within a 5 minute walk to the main chairlifts right
in Whistler village.
Room was good had full kitchenette, whirlpool tub, electric fireplace and lots
of extra pillows.
Room was clean and had lots of space to store my ski equipment. Would recommend
this hotel for couples, and singles. Not good if your on a tight budget, but
still good value vs. the prices of other hotels and resorts in the immediate
area.
Check in and check out was very quick and timely. Front desk staff very helpful
at my check in for all questions I asked. Would stay here again in the future.

Comfortable room that felt like home. Long walk to the room including stairs.
Great place. Amazing location! 1 min walks to Starbucks and many other
restaurants.

The room was available for early check in a total bonus! Kitchenette cutlery and
plates etc were not clean. Loud at night with lots of families and young people
staying there close to the centre of the village and within walking distance of
restaurants, grocery, and shops. Loved the kitchenette! The Holiday Inn Hotel
Whistler is a great place to stay.

Very clean, friendly staff, nice fireplace in room plus jetted hot tub in
bathroom, comfortable bed, direct in whistler village, close to ski lifts. No
breakfast or pool; parking is $11/night. Excellent hotel for leisure traveler
looking for a well-appointed room close to the ski gondola & whistler village.
If you want to avoid the high parking fee, park in lot 4 across the street,
about a 5 minute walk to hotel.

Kitchenette and fireplace were an unexpected bonus. Lobby removed from
entrance/exit areas. Roomier than expected and close in to Whistler
village/skiing/shopping. This robbed us of sleep and made the hallways crowded
