Accommodations for Couples We stayed in a one bedroom suite and it was
wonderful. Comfortable, large and with a great fireplace, it was a
lovely place to stay. We had a view of Blackcomb Mountain from the room
and it was wonderful. Whistler is a wonderful place with a nice village
and everything you need within walking distance. The suite was a great
deal in the off-season and you could comfortably sleep four people in it
without any problems. The pool area was nice although the gym is rather
small. Also, the Salomon store on site is no bargain.

Great hotel in great location. Keep an eye on the credit card you use to
make your reservation. I had a total of over 5,000 dollars charged to my
card prior to my stay. Customer service attempted to correct the charges
on 3 separate occasions. Problem was finally corrected after 3 weeks of
working with customer service and the general manager of the hotel. I
did not cancel the reservation due to the unavailability of rooms in
Whistler during our stay. The actual hotel stay was okay with exception
of checking out. Once again, I was charged for a nights stay which was
suppose to be comped. I caught the error before paying. The hotel agent
stated "I saw the room was comped, but it didn't make sense to me so I
changed it.' I had to provide the name of the general manager and the
reason for the comped night to the agent prior to having the charge
removed. She acted as if I was lying.

We had a mountainside suite and the views from there of Whistler &
Blackcomb were spectacular, the suite included a log fire, balcony,
dining table, sofas and a host of kitchen appliances including full size
cooker and dishwasher! We weren't able to eat there as the restaurant
was being renovated, but this wasn't a problem because it is located
within the village where many good facilities were located. The staff
were very polite and offered help and assistance with all aspects of our
stay. Only negative is the $25 +tax daily parking charge

Best Place to Stay in Whistler
Great hotel. Got a good deal on a room here in October. Room was
impeccably clean and well stocked. We didn’t use the kitchen but it was
very nice. Warm fireplace, and a hand signed welcome note made it feel
much like home. Very close to everything. Will definitely be coming
back.

We have Stayed here twice during ski seasons. The first time we had a
single bedroom apartment with a mountain view. It was magnificent. The
service was wonderful and everyone is so helpful and pleasant without
being obsequious. When we managed to loose our vouchers for ski gear and
lift tickets. They barely battered an eyelid and reissued everything.
The second time we stayed in a two bedroom apartment. Again a wonderful
experience. The higher floors are better for avoiding village noise.
There was a bit of noise from the snow cats grooming the slopes. Our
only disappointment is that we left our booking two late this year for a
two bed apartment. You can't stay any closer to the lift than this.

Valley view is code for Room over the front entrance to the lobby and
across from another hotel. They are not joking about a Murphy bed. We
had a personalized welcome card, not our name, but no big deal. Except
maybe that person specifically requested room 611 on the dark side of
the property directly across the hall from the housekeeping room. Nice!
I hear them speaking as I write. Basically, for what we paid, quite
disappointing. What's galling is that October is low season and the
hotel is not full, so why assign the most mediocre rooms at all? The
front desk said parking is about $25 no matter where you park in
Whistler so you might as well park in the hotel for $25. Happily, the
housekeeping and concierge staff are more knowledgeable, as you can park
across the street about a block and a half down from the hotel for free.
Whistler is great fun though and I think we were just unlucky with the
room.

Very Satisfied with Service and Amenities
Excellent and courteous service. We stayed in a room with a Murphy (fold
down) bed and couch which folded out into a bed. Though a little cramped
when the beds were folded out, the room was clean and comfortable and
loaded with amenities such as a full kitchen (large refrigerator, oven
with four burner stove top, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, large
deep sink, dishes, glasses, cups, cutlery, pots and pans), and gas
fireplace. We only stayed one night, but this room would be excellent
for a long weekend. The service and food in the pub restaurant was
excellent. Overall, I would highly recommend, and we found a very
reasonable rate on

We stay in this hotel every time we come to Whistler and are never
disappointed. The rooms are well designed and comfortable and the
fireplace adds a romantic ambiance. The staff are always helpful and
friendly and we were especially pleased this last time we visited as we
were upgraded to a one bedroom suite as we were there celebrating our
anniversary. We have stayed in other hotels in Whistler, but since
trying this one for the first time several years ago, we keep coming
back here now.
