Super close to the Village. VERY clean. Comfortable rooms and beds. We stayed
two nights and I would highly recommend this hotel. You cannot beat the price
for the value. So glad we stumbled on this one!!!

The hotel is situated in a quiet part of Whistler, yet only 5 mins walk from the
centre of town and the Tourist Information . Very well furnished and rooms were
stylish and comfortable, everything you need is supplied. Our room had lovely
views over the mountains.
Staff were very courteous and helpful. Internet access is coin operated in one
of the hallways. There is a pool and hot tub, plus many facilities offered, e.g.
massage, sports physiotherapy, etc. which can be booked. Great for the end of a
long day hiking and climbing.
Breakfast and meals are taken in the restaurant across the walkway in front. Due
to time issues, we ate there in the evening as well, , and found a very good
varied menu, with varied prices, and pleasant staff in the restaurant. There is
also the opportunity to eat in the many eateries and cafes in the town, a stones
throw away.
We loved it and wished we could have stayed longer.

Had a chance recently to visit the new Aava Hotel in Whistler - the hotel
managers had extended an emergency rate for the residence of Pemberton during
the recent land slide and evacuation! We just wanted to say thank you , and we
loved the property in every way. the staff were super - friendly and great, the
rooms were stylish and cool, the pool and hot tub were beautiful, the gym was
fantastic; brand new and private for me to enjoy. The bike storage area was
literally like a vault, and the Bellman even made some quick bike repairs while
we were checking in, with a full set of tools the hotel had available for guests
to use - a bit over kill for my daughter's princess bike - but daddy enjoyed the
details and the security for his other love...
a fantastic visit for some " locals" but we will be recommending the Aava to
everyone we can!

Only spent one night here. Have nothing to complain about at all. Staff were
very nice at check in and more than helpful. I had asked for early check-in as
we were arriving early and our room was ready at 11:30 am when we got there.
We had 2 queens and the room was small. However, it was pleasant and I had
nothing to complain about. They had WiFi & wired internet. They had free coffee,
Aveda bath products and the A/C worked fine. The tub was a nice soaker and we
both took relaxing baths after walking around the mountain all day and night.
The beds were super, super comfy with nice quilts. The back of the bed where a
head board would be was padded so you didn't hurt your head while sitting up
watching t.v. The t.v. was 32" LG flat screen, though not in HD. It was
absolutely fine though.

I paid $125 CAD including taxes and was fine with the price. I did see all the
reviews below here saying $16 for parking. When we were waiting to check in, I
heard them telling others it was $17 a day. Maybe it's gone up by a buck now?
Didn't hear anyone above me in the room. Heard little kids yelling/running up
and down the hallways in the morning, but that is usual where there are lots of
families staying. Would stay here again, no problem.

We stayed one night at Aava recently. Although we could not judge everything in
this brief period. Here are some of my observations.
As I learned through the internet, the hotel is pretty new, so everything is new
and shining. The hotel is not located right inside the whistler village,
although it was only few minutes walk away. There is a white spot restaurant
right infront of the hotel. The check in staff is very polite and helpful. Even
without asking, the check in clerk gave us hints about what to do in whistler
and stuff.

The room we stayed in was a deluxe 2 queen, but for a 2 queen bed room it was
quite small. There was very little space left beside the beds. Another thing
which I noticed was that the clothes cabinet was just beside the bed and not
beside the entrance door or the bathroom. Other then the size, the room was very
new. The bathroom was also small but very new and modern. There was granite
counter top.
Another thing, the first floor is probably like a half basement without any
view. If you have any choice ask for upper floors. We had to pay $16 plus tax
for parking. The parking lot is a bit tight. There was sewer smell in one corner
of the the parking lot.
For the price we paid, I think we could have got a studio in another hotel but
would have been an older hotel. Overall I think it is a good hotel. If you get a
good deal and you prefer new furnishing and do not care about the size of the
room, I would definitely recommend the hotel.
