Hotel Review of the Pan Pacific Hotel Whistler Village Centre

I booked a basic room at this hotel for a one-night stay on 7 Sep, the
rate was fantastic and included breakfast. Upon checkin, the friendly
lady at the front desk upgraded us to a king suite. The accommodation
was tastefully decorated and well equipped, we particularly loved the
fireplace in the sitting room.
Everything in this hotel was well maintained, staff were friendly and
helpful, the breakfast was the best in our entire trip in Canada.
The next day we reluctantly left this lovely hotel and Whistler, but
were excited as we were driving towards the Rockies. After on a scenic
but winding road for more than 2 hours, we took a break at a cafe in a
small town. Out of the blue I suddenly remembered we had left all our
valuables in the safe at the hotel room - large amount of cash,
passports, credit cards. Panic set in, we were only in the beginning of
our holiday, what to do if we lose all these things! The staff at the
cafe kindly let us use their phone to contact the hotel, the hotel told
us Yes they found everything in the safe and had been trying to contact
us. Our relief and gratitude were enormous, we were saved! After another
2.5 hours of backtracking we returned to the hotel and retrieved our
items from the smiling staff, we were so thankful we wanted to hug them!
We subsequently had a wonderful time in the rest of our trip and always
always remembered to empty the safe before checkout. Canada is a
beautiful country with beautiful people, we hope to return one day soon!

The hotel room was very clean, very comfortable bed and nice sheets. I
even called the hotel back to ask them what brand of sheets they use.
They also have a nice and friendly staff. I enjoyed the nice outdoor
heated pool and spa that has an awesome view of the mountain. Oy yeah
even my dog felt so welcomed, when we walked in our hotel room they had
doggie biscuits and a doggy blanket ready for him
Location was close walk to everything from starbucks, grocery store,
liquor store, restaurants and bar.
I definitely will stay in this same hotel when I go back to whistler

Prices at this excellent hotel are a bargain out of season in early
September. We had a huge suite shared by 4 adults at just a small amount
more than for a studio. Rooms have full cooking facilities and are
furnished to a high standard. Staff are helpful and the breakfasts big
enough for the largest appetite. A small gym, an outdoor heated pool and
2 jacuzzis give this hotel top rating from me. The only downside is the
car parking charges, at $28 a day, which seem to be the way most
Whistler hotels top up their income, but don't let this take away from
what is a first class hotel.

We booked this hotel because we could take our mini Dachshund and were
pleasantly surprised. We arrived early and staff at desk so helpful.
Took our bags to secure room and parked our car and called us on
cellphone when room ready (which was still earlier than checkin). When
we arrived bags were in our room. We were upgraded to top floor one
bedroom. Hotel is so central. Can take elevator to P1 and get to shops
and Starbucks. If not great weather Earls is steps away for dinner.
Breakfast at the hotel is more than adequate and included in room price.
When we left hotel same thing - they got our bags from room and secured
them while we walked and shopped the village. When we were ready to
leave we just came back to the hotel and they brought our car to us and
loaded the luggage. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Roxy took
care of our reservations and was a joy to work with. We will definitely
go back.

This is truly a great Hotel to come to. We came back because we knew
that we could expect the best there is in Whistler. The Staff all work
very hard to make your stay comfortable and memorable.
We had no complaints and nothing but praise for our stay.
I covered all the aspects of the Hotel in my June 26th stay comments,
but I thought that it was good to let everyone know that we made a
return a few months later ...... and everything was super.
Don't fret about the parking costs. The Day lots now have parking fees
...... and the parking in the Hotel is so convenient .......
underground, really well lit, secure ....... and we never moved our car
in 5 days and it was just as we left it.
So, to Jim and all his Staff ....... keep up the good work.
Oh yes, and while in Whistler be sure and take the Peak to Peak ride
....... a really marvellous sight.

Beware - when booking the studio apartment, you do not get a proper bed.
You get a pull down mattress which is uncomfortable and unfit to sleep
on. Both my wife and I woke up with back ache on the 3 nights we were at
this hotel.
The staff were unfriendly and didn't care about customer service

Really amazing hotel. All rooms are suites so there is a lot of space.
The furniture in the rooms are not out dated or damaged from overly
being used. We are clean freaks and our room was perfectly clean. The
staff was very helpful and made us feel welcome. Salt water pool is
something we really enjoyed and from now on I will not stay in a hotel
unless it has salt water pool. Overall a good experience and next time I
really want to check out the Pan Pacific Mountainside. Complimentary
wireless internet (in Fairmont I had to pay$14.00 a day for that) is a
great thing. They also have complimentary cold breakfast which was way
more than what I expected.
My wife used the spa and she was really happy, her words were that she
was very "pampered". I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Wonderful service. The most detailed housekeeping I've ever experienced.
Ever. We were upgraded to a 1-bedroom with a den. Absolutely spacious
and well-kept. It feels like a boutique hotel without the noises of a
boutique hotel. Location is wonderful. Breakfast was great. I can't say
enough great things about this hotel. We will definitely return.

5 star hotel at the base of the mountains in the village in Whistler,
BC, Canada. Outstanding front desk staff and first class facilities.
Smallest room is 550sq. ft. with full facility kitchen, private bedroom,
and living room. We enjoyed lunch on the balcony with an excellent view
of the mountains. Whistler is a year-round outdoors adventure community
and the Pan Pacific City Centre is an excellent facility.
