Hotel Review of the Pan Pacific Hotel Whistler Village Centre

The best utilization of 565 sq ft in a 1 bedroom suite ever, at a great
price., very clean, breakfast incl. is adequate, friendly staff, gas
fireplace, aveda soaps, etc, fridge, stove, lovely bathrobes, shower
enclosure and separate bathtub. removed from the village late night
noises. Best in off ski season, but not as convenient to lifts, ( in ski
season pick the "mountain side lodge". Starbucks 2 mins. from the door,
3 mins to market and liquor store.

We stayed over the labour day weekend (1st week of September). We had
our 8 yr old daughter with us. Our room was on the 4th floor overlooking
a quiet courtyard portion of the village. Noise from outside was
minimal. If you are interested there is a nightlife in whistler, but we
were happy to skip that aspect, but it can result in louder people
arriving home at early hours, but only heard this one night and not for
too long. This may be more prevalent in the Delta with club in
bottom....but Delta is big, so location of room would also be a factor.
Service - top notch service from all staff every day.

Location - perfect! Right on the edge of the village with shopping and
restaurants at your doorstep. The blackcomb area is just a short walk
across the road. You can be anywhere in village or upper village
(Blackcomb) in 15 minutes at a very leisurely pace.
Other Hotels - from general observations the
Hilton,
Westin,
Delta ,
Pan Pacific Hotel Whistler
Mountainside and Fairmont Chateau
all looked good....Four
Seasons Hotel too
but they are priced too high and furthest from core areas. We were happy
with our one bedroom suite and suggest that others seek that style of
room. The complimentary breakfast saved coin and was never too crowded.
Shopping - it is fun to shop in the village and prices are fine.
Overall - we stayed from Friday at 6pm to Monday noon and found that
length of time to be perfect. The hotel was perfect and we would stay
again, and highly recommend to others. And yes parking is $25 a night
but that is simply the area standard and valet parking was great, we did
not use car the whole weekend.

We just returned from a one night stay in a 1bdrm and den on an upper
floor
We were very, very impressed with the young staff especially the Front
Desk Staff and the young man who drove us in the shuttle Bus to a
function we were attending. Roxanne, the desk clerk we mostly dealt
with, was helpful, charming and very anticipatory of what are needs
might be.
The location is perfect. Right behind the Village and a 5 minute walk to
the Upper Village and Blackcomb slopes. I don't think it could be
better.
We would stay there again, especially at the excellent Advance Booking
rate we paid and especially if we were travelling with other family
members or friends. If, on the other hand, we are looking for a night of
luxury in a 5 star establishment, we would have to pay more and choose
the Four Seasons or maybe the Fairmont.

We stayed here one night in a one bedroom suite. We had a separate queen
bed with sliding door. Kids had their own pull out queen sofa bed which
was comfortable. There was also a chaise lounge in the room, but it
wasn't big enough for anyone to sleep on. Great kitchenette in room with
microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher. Two tvs in room.
Great hotel and very professional and helpful staff. Room was very clean
and beds were comfortable. Very nice bathroom and shower. Small but
decent lap pool outside with two hot tubs (which we enjoyed at night).
Decent breakfast included in our rate. Thought it was very reasonable
with deal we got, about $185 plus tax per night. Very well located,
right on the edge of the village but removed enough to be quiet (this is
key as there is quite the happening scene at night and could get a bit
noisy if you are right in the village). Would definitely stay there
again! Whistler is a great little town!

My husband and I recently stayed at the Pan Pacific on our first trip to
Vancouver/Whistler! It was amazing! PERFECT location! We stayed in a 1
bedroom suite with full Kitchen and beautiful amenities! They upgraded
us for free to a higher floor as well! The front desk staff and
concierge were amazing! All extremely helpful and truly made our trip
amazing! This was our "babymoon" so we also were taking note that the
hotel is very family (and pet) friendly which was great! They offered a
free continental breakfast every morning and always had the weather and
newspaper ready for you! Overall they had great suggestions for
restaurants and places to see! They had a map of the village and were
able to give us more details on the gondola hikes up the mountain!
We loved the location, close to everything...we honestly never needed
our car! Being in the heart of Whistler Village was perfect! We could
walk to coffee in the am and dinner in the pm!
Can't wait to return and would definitely stay again!
Also we had a VERY early return flight, they made sure we were checked
out the night before and had our car waiting for us at 4am the next day!
All in all great experience!

I took my wife up to Whistler for her 50th birthday this year. something
different for a 50th celebration.
Whistler is our home away from home, but I think we've found the home
for our stays in Whistler.
I started early this year after the Olympics to plan this for her. I had
contacted many hotels, but none had contacted me after a few weeks, so I
emailed the Pan and Krista was in touch with me w/in 24 hours, if that.
She was very helpful in getting rooms for all that were to come, and my
constant questions were always answered immediately.
Upon arrival, the front desk was AWESOME, very accommodating, to the
point of being friendly, but not saying anything to my wife, in case she
figure out what was happening. on this weekend.
The flowers I had ordered were sent up for our arrival, the birthday
cake was held until needed. These people are the best.
The hotel was clean and inviting, the room was great. No need to worry
if you'll get a good nights sleep or not, these beds are top shelf !!!
The breakfast was self serve and with so much fresh fruit, bagels,
pastries, etc, I for one was happy. Not your typical stingy
'continental' breakfast. Eat up !!
The pool was great with the July heat.
The crew here from management on down, was 110%. I can't thank them
enough for all they did to accommodate my needs to pull this off.
There's no need to look any further that the Pan Pacific Village Center
if you're looking for a Whistler holiday.

located right in the village of Whistler and easy access to Blacomb-whistler
Gondola.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Free WIFI and Breakfast Though could
maybe improve on the variety of items served. Very nice outdoor pool ,
heated and lovely for an early morning swim. Room was definitely big
enough , separate bedroom with TV, spacious living room and kitchen and
could imagine that the fireplace would add charm during the winter
season
