Whistler Cup
April 8 - 10, 2011
After the completion of its 19th year, Whistler Cup has grown to become the
largest and most important ski race in North America, and internationally, for
athletes aged 11 to 14 years. It is held under the auspice of FIS, the
international governing body for alpine skiing, and with hundreds of young
athletes from 23 countries participating, the Whistler Cup brings together

Ronald McDonald House Charities Ski Challenge

Please join in the 22nd annual Ronald McDonald House Charities Ski Challenge.
Your corporate team of four skiers will enjoy a full day of skiing and

The Benchmark Series - Spring Fling

The Benchmark series gives Nordic skiers three opportunities over the course of
the season to benchmark the time it takes them to ski to the Callaghan Lodge
(13.5 km). Registration begins at 8:30 am with the group ski beginning at 9:00
am. Free BBQ up at Callaghan Lodge from 12:00 to 2:00 pm. Day tickets will be
discounted for all pre-registered participants. Adult tickets: $10.00,

Performance Series at Millenium Place: DuffleBag Theatre

DuffleBag Theatre returns for another hilarious season of interactive
storytelling theatre! The actors begin the retelling of original adaptations of
select fairy tales and Shakespearean classics full of wit and humour. Just when
the audience becomes enthralled by the story - a twist is created! Before your
very eyes, students (and maybe even a teacher) are asked to come up on stage and

7-Eleven Fire and Ice Show
April 3, 2011
Whistler Blackcomb turns up the heat every Sunday night with the 7-Eleven Fire &
Ice Show at 6:30 pm at the base of the Whistler Village Gondola. Fire spinners,
fire works and the Ski and Snowboard School's hottest pros throw down big air
through a ring of fire, making this event a family-friendly must do. After the
show, head upstairs to the GLC's notorious Afterburn Party.
Mum's Mountain Classic

This fun annual event is open to skiing and snowboarding mums and grandmums of
all ages. The day includes morning coffee, race practice, a match-time race,
lunch coupon (make your own reservations at Christine's if you like) and après
festivities. Register in person prior to the event day at any Whistler Blackcomb
Guest Relations or Ski & Snowboard School Sales locations or by calling their

Winemaker Après Series

Held at Steeps Grill & Wine Bar on Whistler Mountain, the Après Series allows
you to sample the British Columbia inspired menu paired with wines from the best
that BC has to offer. Three dates: Osoyoos Larose and Nk'Mip Cellars on
Wednesday, February 23; Jackson Triggs Okanagan Estate on Wednesday, March 16;
and See Ya Later Ranch on Wednesday, April 13. Tickets start at $54.00* and are
