Loved it, so my brother booked a room for following weekend to go skiing on our
recommendation.

The rooms are comfortable and clean though not 5 star - but I didn't expect or
want that. very comfortable, very roomy and great value. top that off with
friendly, accommodating and unpretentious service with genuine interest about
the people, and that made a fantastic stay. it is a little away from the Village
[great by me] so quiet. This placed delivers far above its price.

The lodge is clean and well kept with the best scenic views available in
Whistler. You're on the lake front away from the clutter and noise of the
village. Big pictures windows and a spacious deck provide awesome views. The
lake side hot tub was decent, again with great views. The restaurant was very
good with great service and fantastic food. The venison osso bucco was great but
the creme Brule is the best around. We will certainly be back.

We booked the Edgewater Lodge in January. We got a pet friendly room. We were
pleasantly surprised when we got there that they had given us a complimentary
upgrade to a larger room with a separate sitting room. The view into Green Lake
was spectacular. I'm sure the view would be even better during the summer. It is
located right next to the lake in a very quiet and secluded area. The lady
working at the reception was very friendly, courteous and helpful. The
complimentary continental breakfast they provided was also good. It consisted of
a good selection of juices, pastries, hard boiled eggs and fruit. The only
drawback about this hotel is that it is not walking distance to the village. It
is about a 5 minute drive away. Would definitely recommend.

tub needs an upgrade.

We loved our stay at the Edgewater on Green Lake! Our niece's wedding was hosted
there, and it was amazing! The Fine Dining was served after the beautiful vows
of a Special Couple and the food and service from the restaurant was bar none !!
The management made you feel at home immediately! To see the lights of the
mountains and the snow cats grooming the runs from the huge windows/deck or from
the comfort of your bed from both Blackcomb and Whistler were something we
didn't see from other places we have stayed in Whistler !! The deluxe
continental Breakfast was the icing on the cake .....we would defiantly not
hesitate to book # 12 to enjoy kayaking in the spring/summer.....TY... Edgewater

The Edgewater Lodge has comfy room with the best view in Whistler. The food is
outstanding in the most architecturally beautiful dining room. We always enjoy
ourselves and it is worth the extra five minutes drive.

The setting is beautiful, the food is amazing and the staff are very
accommodating. This is the best place in Whistler to hold your wedding, the
staff are very experienced in wedding arrangements. They maintain excellent
communication and offer very helpful and thoughtful advice/suggestions for the
big event.
Thanks to all the staff for making my daughters wedding magical!

We have visited the Edgewater Lodge many times over the past ten years. Unlike
most accommodation in Whistler, Edgewater offers a mountain experience as
opposed to a village experience; with the amenities of the village being only a
few minutes away. The views from the rooms to Green Lake and the mountains
beyond are very beautiful. These same views are visible from the fine dining
restaurant and outdoor whirlpool; which are a great combination after a day on
the slopes or trails. We highly recommend Edgewater Lodge for those who are
looking for a tranquil and luxurious mountain retreat

Edgewater Lodge is small and intimate. It offers visitors a Whistler experience
that is different than staying right in the village. Looking out the windows all
you can see are mountains, lake and forest - yet the village is only a few
kilometers away. The staff are very welcoming and you feel almost like you are
staying in a private chalet, as opposed to a mega-resort. Breakfast is great and
the restaurant has an excellent atmosphere. I highly recommend Edgewater!

We had only booked for three nights as we had hired a car and were on a self
drive holiday. As soon as we drove into the Edgewater Lodge, and walked into our
most homely and comfortable unit, we fell in love with it instantly. We quickly
decided to see if there were another three nights available, and ended up making
it our home for six wonderful, wonderful days. I still have the most fantastic
felling when I think about our stay there. The scenery, the location and the
understated rusticness, suited us to a tee.
We hope to come back in the not too distant future and experience the most
wonderful place on earth at a different time of year. It was great to meet Jye,
the owner, and the other staff were friendly and made you feel totally at home.
We dined twice during our stay and both times the food was absolutely
delectable. Thanks again for a wonderful experience, as we had dreamt of this
holiday for a long time.
