We had a fantastic time in Whistler. Our room was very nice. Spacious and spotlessly clean with fabulous views. I travelled with 2 very untidy children and the housekeepers should be praised for keeping our suite so beautiful. Breakfast was good and very easy each day and the reception staff were really helpful. Whistler itself is great with fantastic shops, bars and restaurants. The skiing is totally awesome with superb long runs which the whole family enjoyed.

Stayed here in the spring with my wife and 2 small kids (ages 7 and 6), and liked it so much that we decided to stay here again for our winter ski vacation.
The hotel is all suites, and we stayed in one that had one master bedroom (for Mom and Dad), one smaller bedroom (for the older kid) and a den (with a pull out bed, plenty big enough for our six-year old). This way everyone gets their own space, and Mom and Dad can even hang out in the large living room after the kids have gone to bed, without being afraid of waking anyone. Our 6-year old girl LOVED her den - she could slide the doors closed, and watch her favorite TV shows, without her brother jumping on her like he usually does.
Hotel also has a really nice warm outdoor pool and 2 hot tubs.
They normally have a Manager's Reception from 4-5 in the afternoon, where you can get a glass of wine, beer or a hot chocolate and a cookie on the house. Unfortunately, due to lack of demand, they stopped this halfway through our stay. This leads to me another point - the hotel was really not that busy for peak season. Whistler is suffering from the recession and the strong Canadian Dollar, so there are definitely deals to be had.
As regards Whistler itself, a one-day adult lift pass is now CAD 106!! This seems excessive to me, and, despite our love of the Pan Pacific Village Center, will make us think twice before skiing here again.
All-in-all a second great stay at a wonderful family hotel - great rooms, great pools and really friendly, accommodating staff (special thanks to Katie on the front desk and Jake, who helped us with our skis).

We didn't not have the best time of our life in Whistler at the Pan Pacific! And we owe it all to Joel, the best night staff worker of all time. He helped us out with all of our questions and concerns in such a nice and informative manner! Not only would I recommend this hotel because of its open concept, I would recommend talking to Joel about any questions you need answered.

Stayed ten nights on the basis of TripAdvisor reviews and very impressed. Great location and staff take your ski / board gear to your locker at sister property upon arrival - nice welcome after a long trip. Room was spacious and well appointed and in-house dining good quality and value. Free, fast and reliable wi-fi and morning newspaper both appreciated. Free afternoon wine or beer and a taste from the kitchen with hotel management highlights the main reason I have scored so high - all the staff I had contact with were not only professional and courteous but seemed sincerely interested in my stay. Hope to be able to stay again.

We stayed at the Pan Pacific Whistler Village Centre for 3 nights as a long weekend trip from Seattle. We booked the hotel at the last minute via the official Whistler page where they had a 72 hour sale on hotels so managed to get a decent deal at the last minute for such a nice hotel.

Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the staff. The bellmen were great, they unloaded our car and even took our ski gear over to our ski locker located at the Pan Pacific Mountainside. It was very convenient to have the Pan Pacific provide a ski locker at the Pan Pacific Mountainside hotel so you didn't have to carry your ski gear every morning to the ski lifts. The locker is located just steps away from both the Whistler and Blackcomb gondolas. The hotel is in a great location just a 4 minute walk to the ski lifts and steps away from shops and restaurants. There is a Starbucks, drug store, movie theater, and grocery store within minutes of the hotel. There are also plenty of restaurants within minutes of the hotel. We especially liked the Dubh Linn Gate pub in the PP Mountainside hotel. Good pub food with fun, lively music!

We stayed in a 1 bedroom on a lower floor. It was an extremely clean, comfortable, and spacious room with modern decor. It nicely fit a family of four with our 2 kids sleeping on the hideway bed in the living room. The kitchen was a little small but nicely stocked and had everything you needed to prepare meals. The room had a nice fireplace, large windows, and two flat screen TV's. Overall, the room was incredibly comfortable and cozy. The bathroom was very spacious with both a shower and tub. After a long day skiing, we enjoyed spending an evening cozying up by the fireplace and watching a movie. We also loved the fact that breakfast was included with our room accommodations. It was a good, standard breakfast buffet. However, considering that meals can be expensive in Whistler, having the breakfast included was a plus. The kids also enjoyed the pool and hot tub outside after a long day on the slopes. We also liked the free WiFi in the room.

The staff at the Pan Pacific were very friendly, attentive, and helpful. The Concierge helped us with arranging ski lessons, restaurant recommendations, and arranging a babysitter one evening. They did everything with a smile and made sure we had a lovely visit.

Overall, I would highly recommend the Pan Pacific Whistler Village hotel. Its probably a bit more spendy than other accommodations in Whistler but the location, service, and rooms were worth it. It's great for families and in a fantastic location. Will definitely be back again soon!
